Notes

I saw String Quartet No. 1 one night when I was about to fall asleep. I saw an unopened rose begin to unfold. In this process, colors, smells emerged, and the petals were intertwined. The rose opened, but in my dream, I wanted it to stop blooming because death would come. Then it disappeared. I clung to life, and I understood that the sound of this work should narrate this consciousness that clings to everything and to nothing. We want to have all of it, just to know ourselves and believe ourselves alive, to forget that we are going to die, and that everything is irrelevant. — JDLCH.
